Hi, I’m JoAnna—the mama behind Little Grove Co. Our story starts with my son, Ryker.

Ryker was diagnosed with late-onset Pompe disease, a rare inherited condition that affects the body’s ability to break down glycogen, a stored form of sugar. When an enzyme called GAA doesn’t work properly, glycogen builds up inside cells and can weaken muscles, including those used for breathing. Despite the name, late-onset Pompe can cause symptoms in childhood or adulthood, and its timing and progression vary from person to person.

During that chapter of learning about his health, we also learned that Ryker has eczema and very sensitive skin. His comfort became a big part of how I thought about clothing—what he wore mattered beyond how cute it looked.

That’s where our love for bamboo clothing began, and where the inspiration for Little Grove took root.

As a mom, I loved finding sweet prints for my little boy. That love grew into wanting to create designs of my own. Today, I make seamless design files that makers can bring to life through fabric, clothing, and other creative projects.

The files are digital, but the inspiration is personal. Behind Little Grove is a mama thinking about her son, the everyday moments we share, and the joy of creating something another family might love, too.

Our business is growing alongside our family, with faith, creativity, and Ryker’s story at its heart.
